Self-hosted video conferencing

ZengoMeet is a self-hosted video conferencing service. Calls run on infrastructure that Zengo Hosting LLC controls directly, rather than being routed through a third-party conferencing platform.

What self-hosted means here

There is no outside video platform sitting between you and your call. The servers that connect your meeting are ours, and ZengoMeet does not route your call through an external video platform.

Built on open source

ZengoMeet is built on open-source software. Zengo adds its own hosting, branding, moderator-code authentication and features on top of that foundation.

Security basics

• Every call is encrypted in transit by default, as standard WebRTC behavior.
• A moderator can also enable optional end-to-end encryption for a meeting under Security Options. It needs a supporting browser: a recent Chrome, Firefox or Edge.
• ZengoMeet is not currently HIPAA compliant or SOC 2 certified. If your organization needs those assurances, contact privacy@zengomeet.com.
